This site is a tribute to John Wheeler. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

John was joined by his wife, Amy, in August 2020.

Searching for me.
It’s strange, I cannot find me there,
Although I’ve looked with utmost care,
I’ve searched each alley way and nook,
Each photograph, each history book,
I’ve searched for me both night and day,
I’ve searched for me at work and play,
I’ve searched each attic room and stair,
But cannot find me anywhere,
In hallowed hall, on library shelf,
‘I wonder where I left myself’.
